John’s first
glued-lapstrake boat, a 15’ rowing gig, built in 1987.
She was beautiful, fun, and went along
nicely. We learned a lot from her: things that worked
well—and a few that didn’t. The Peregrine and Merlin
rowboats directly benefited from what we learned from
Rozi.
